Turns out that the sawmill noise is a pure aphrodisiac for cicadas. The client and I agreed to call it a day after 3 hours. I had to shake out my shirt after every other pass. I'm reaching the "over it" phase regarding cicadas.

Finally getting around to cutting the cedar decking and siding for the kids playset. Overkill... yes. Still cheaper than pressure treated.
Oh and @morninggloryandtori and I rebuilt that red topped barn on the left in 2014. In the days before kids when free time was extant.
